This Privacy Policy applies to RemindReview (the “Service”, “we”, “us”), an appointment messaging product operated by John Jensen (sole proprietor) and available at remindreview.com and any related domains we operate. It describes how John Jensen / RemindReview collects, uses, and protects information when you use RemindReview or receive SMS from RemindReview.
RemindReview is the product brand. The service is operated by John Jensen, a sole proprietor. RemindReview helps appointment-based businesses send automated SMS appointment reminders, confirm/cancel links, and optional post-visit review requests. Messages are sent under the RemindReview brand on behalf of John Jensen / RemindReview.
If you (or a person you authorize) opt in to SMS, RemindReview may send appointment-related texts, including:

We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We may use service providers (for example SMS delivery, hosting, or infrastructure) solely to operate RemindReview; they process data on our behalf and are not authorized to use phone numbers for their own marketing.
Consent to receive texts is for RemindReview appointment and service communications described above, and is not required as a condition of purchasing goods or services where applicable law requires that distinction.
When clinic staff connect Google, RemindReview uses OAuth to access Google Calendar data needed to run the Service. If clinic staff use address suggestions, the entered address text is processed by Google Maps Platform under the Google Privacy Policy. This section describes how we access, use, share, store, and retain that data, and affirms compliance with Google’s Limited Use requirements for user data obtained via Google APIs.
Access.
We access Google Calendar data via OAuth: calendar list/metadata and event data needed for appointments
(for example time, title/summary, and description when used for phone), via scopes such as
calendar.readonly and, when the clinic enables cancel writeback,
calendar.events (to update or delete that event).
We do not access Gmail, Drive, Contacts, or unrelated Google products.
Use. Google user data is used only to provide and improve RemindReview user-facing features: sync appointments, SMS confirm/remind/review flows, the staff dashboard, and optional calendar update when a client cancels by SMS. We do not use this data for advertisements, sale, credit decisions, or unrelated profiling.
Share. We do not sell Google user data. It is shared only with subprocessors needed to operate the Service (for example hosting and SMS) under contracts; they may not use Google user data for their own marketing or ads. A current list of subprocessors is on our security page.
Storage and security. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Google refresh tokens and stored data are protected with encryption and secrets practices appropriate to our cloud host, plus administrative and technical safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Retention and deletion. Retention follows this policy: while the account is active; after account close or a written deletion request to privacy@remindreview.com, we delete or anonymize clinic operational data within 30 days (subject to the same legal-hold exceptions described under Data retention). Staff can disconnect Google in the RemindReview dashboard, which stops further Calendar access.
Limited Use / AI. We comply with Google’s Limited Use requirements for user data obtained via Google APIs. We do not use Google user data for serving advertisements, personalized or interest-based ads, or selling to data brokers. We do not use Google Workspace / Calendar APIs to develop, improve, or train generalized / non-personalized AI or ML models.
While your RemindReview account is active, we retain appointment-derived records and SMS message logs so reminders, delivery history, and support can work.
After account close or a written deletion request to privacy@remindreview.com, we delete or anonymize clinic operational data within 30 days, except where we must keep records for legal holds, dispute resolution, or to evidence a signed Business Associate Agreement (BAA signature records may be retained as contract evidence).

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to a small service hosted on cloud infrastructure, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and encryption at rest where our cloud host provides it. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
RemindReview is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect SMS opt-ins from children under 13.
RemindReview may update this policy from time to time. The “Effective date” above will change when we do. Continued use of RemindReview after updates means you accept the revised policy.
